This web site is designed to give simple guidance in broad terms about your rights as worker. It is not a legal text or legal advice, but is deliberately written in ordinary language. 

What is being described here is applicable in Trinidad and Tobago but would generally also apply in the English speaking Caribbean except where the labour law is different.

Industrial relations can be complex, so if you have issues at work and need advice, find a trade union
